Nothing says “back to normal” like meeting up with your friends for dinner and drinks at your favorite crowded, poorly-ventilated restaurant or watering hole. But don’t get your hopes up, because that’s not going to happen anytime soon.
Even if you’re fully vaccinated, even if you’ve had a booster, even if you’re low-risk — young and free of chronic illnesses — we can’t go back to those days because no one’s around to grill your grouper, bring you a beer, deliver your dahl, or serve up your sushi.
